President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan , has stated for the first time about the capture of approximately 200 school daughter northeast of the country.
In his first public since 200 girls abducted by men suspected to be militants of the extremist Muslim Boko Haram , President Goodluck Jonathan , has said that every effort should be made to deliver the girls .
Proclamation of the President issued following pressure provided by the family, women's groups and others who have urged the government to do more to ensure that those girls are redeemed.
The President said that security officials have been looking all over the place , using planes and helicopters but he admitted that they have not been able to recognize the girls kofichwa .
He said that his government has been forced to ask for help in searching out the girls from the Government of the United States, Britain and China .
Nigerian army has been fighting with the militant group since 2009 , but attacks and bombings have continued to be heard all over the place without ceasing .
More recently there has been an explosion in the capital of Abuja in three weeks where around 90 people were killed and many others injured.
