I have seen many people discussing the fate of the conflict between Malawi and Tanzania on Lake Nyasa after Hon Peter Mutharika won power.
I know I for the position of Peter Mutharika on Lake Nyasa is more strict succeed Mama Banda.
8 In 2013, he said he does not to have to take responsibility and Tanzania talks about Lake Malawi ( Nyasa ) , because it is of Malawi and will be used in its plans to equip unemployed youth.
Now he has won the election ... just wait and see if he said it is the policy of his government ? ? It would be bad as it would be for policy is going to destroy his country's relations with Tanzania .
Below I have set the reference link he said .==========================================

That is due to the position of Mutharika , who is Professor of Justice against continued bargaining and Tanzania about who has the right to own lake he gave when he visited the country to Chipoko , along the lake a few months before the general elections that were the ' power.
Although the context of this position can vary with current realities , political differences between him and his predecessor , Joyce Banda can add new impetus to want to discontinue negotiations until the lake.
Addressing the people , Professor Mutharika has brought concern and urging continued to operate as usual for the explanation that the lake is situated on the territory of Malawi and that continuing to negotiate with Tanzania is a waste of time .
"There is no need to continue to negotiate , Lake Malawi is the property of Malawi and Malawi will remain forever, " said Mutharika , who also has been teaching law University of Dar es Salaam.
Alimshutumu Banda and claimed he was too weak to provide an opportunity for Tanzania to use this weakness to want to loot the lake.
" Our lake except Tanzania spends only weakness of the existing government because they are know in their hearts that they do not have anything in the lake. When we return to government this year things will put an end without a head . Intimates that we want to send more ships to the lake to lift our economic activity and create jobs for our young people . "
However, last week the government of Tanzania gave its position on the border dispute and assert that it will continue to negotiate and Malawi.
Speaking in parliament when presenting his ministry 's budget , the Minister of Foreign Affairs countries and International Cooperation, Bernard Membe said Tanzania was regularly monitored closely Malawi elections and that is ready to work with any government in power itakayoingia .
